Why I started Pleroma Signal and how I work.
I spent over seven years in supply chain, working across planning, commodity management, NPI, and project management. Seeing the end-to-end process of an NPI launch made me curious about end-to-end supply chains. The complexity of a single project made me want to understand the complexity of entire ones.
Most articles and posts online focus on small segments that don’t tell the full story. Sometimes that’s done without realizing it, and sometimes it’s done on purpose to minimize how bad a situation actually is. Pleroma Signal is the response.
Every claim with a number gets a source label so you can see what’s behind it. When predictions resolve, I publish what happened on the original report. Same with corrections. The goal is that you can look at any line and tell how solid it is without taking my word for it.
The focus is rare earths. Over the next decade these are the most critical materials in the US supply chain, and where Chinese leverage is most concentrated and least clearly mapped.
